Meat

Beef
is procured from the best Croatian meat suppliers. The meat undergoes veterinary inspection and is of a category acceptable for human consumption. It is freshly processed and packed in polyamide wrappers and immediately afterwards frozen at -18 °C.

Seasonal fruits and vegetables (green leafy vegetables, carrots, apple) as a source of vitamins and minerals, phytonutrients that have an important antioxidant role in the body, and raw fibers whose role is mechanical - they stimulate intestinal peristalsis and support the growth of good microflora in the intestines (prebiotic properties).

Bone
is an optimal source of minerals for dogs. When bone is a source of minerals, there is no fear of an unfavorable ratio of calcium and phosphorus, because the organism will take each mineral in the amount it needs, and the excess of minerals will remain undigested and be expelled from the organism. Bones are in the diet of dogs, apart from being a source of minerals, essential in order to achieve the optimal stool consistency, so that the anal sacs are emptied naturally.

Ground cartilage is a rich natural source of substances essential for joint health (glucosamine , chondroitin).

Glucosamine is a proteoglycan (glucose + amino acid glutamine) that is found in high concentration in connective tissue. It is needed for the synthesis of larger molecules that keep the joints healthy, i.e. well lubricated and mobile. It is important in the therapy and prevention of joint injuries, osteoarthritis and other degenerative changes in the joints.

Chondroitin
is a complex carbohydrate found in the connective tissue of animals and humans. It ensures cartilage health by binding water molecules to itself (creating synovial fluid that nourishes and lubricates joint cartilage and ligaments), blocking enzymes that damage cartilage and stimulating the activity of chondrocytes (cartilage cells) to synthesize collagen and proteoglycans.

Beef liver
is a rich source of vitamin A, essential fatty acids, folic acid, vitamin B complex, especially vitamin B 12, iron. It is important to emphasize that the liver filters toxins, but does not store them. Muscle tissue regularly contains larger amounts of toxins than the liver.

Bovine rumen
(one of the prestomachs of cattle; tripe, fillets) is a rich source of enzymes, minerals (calcium and phosphorus). , vitamins (choline) and fatty acids (linoleic and linolenic), also contains Lactobacillus acidophilus – probiotic. The rumen is also a rich source of chlorophyll, a green plant pigment that has been found to accelerate the body's detoxification processes, has an antimicrobial effect, strengthens the immune system, affects the control and destruction of malignant cells, and has the ability to bind heavy metals. It has a positive effect on the healing of wounds, both on the surface of the skin and on the mucous membranes (a positive effect on the healing of ulcers on the stomach lining was found).

Without grains and starch
No preservatives
No preservatives, artificial colors, flavor enhancers, pesticides and other additives common in most other dog foods.
  • The size of the meal depends on the body weight, activity and age of the dog. For an adult dog, it is usually around 2% of its body weight. The recommended daily meal for a puppy is 3% of the expected body weight in adulthood.
  • Adult, healthy dogs are recommended to be fed once a day. If the dog is taught to eat 2-3 meals a day, it can continue in that rhythm.
  • Puppies, bitches in high stages of pregnancy and lactation, and dogs with health problems are usually fed several times a day.
  • It is recommended to weigh the dog before starting BARF feeding and 2 to 3 weeks after. Depending on what you wanted to achieve (maintenance of body weight, weight loss, weight gain), adjust the size of the meal.
