Lamb meat is a great choice if you want to add variety to your dog's diet. It can also be the main choice of meat for dogs that are allergic to chicken or beef. It is also the meat of choice for picky eaters who like a more intense taste of food.

Lamb is a red meat that is considered a complete protein because it contains all essential amino acids. It is rich in zinc, which is important for supporting the immune system, iron and B vitamins, which are important in maintaining the proper functioning of the nervous system.

Seasonal fruits and vegetables (green leafy vegetables, carrots, apples ) as a source of vitamins and minerals, phytonutrients that have an important antioxidant role in the body, and raw fibers whose role is mechanical - they stimulate intestinal peristalsis and support the growth of good microflora in the intestines (prebiotic properties).
  • As there are no ground bones and cartilage in this food, we advise you to combine it with other raw Von BARF products in order to provide the dog with a complete meal in combination with other products.
  • With this product, the best either 2-3 times a week, offer the dog bones, appropriate for the size and quantity of the dog's size. Preference should be given to bones that have a lot of cartilage on the edges/joints, and it is preferable that they also have some meat on them. The bones must be raw.
  • (Satisfying the idea of a complete meal does not mean that the dog must receive exactly certain amounts of different nutrients every day, but that the idea of a complete meal is satisfied throughout the week – ten days by combining different foods and meals.)

  • The size of the meal depends on the body weight, activity and age of the dog. For adult dogs it is usually around 2% of body weight. The recommended daily ration for a puppy is 3% of the expected adult body weight.
  • Adult, healthy dogs are recommended to be fed once a day. If the dog is taught to eat 2-3 meals a day, it can continue in that rhythm.
  • Puppies, bitches in high stages of pregnancy and lactation, and dogs with health problems are usually fed several times a day.
  • It is recommended to weigh the dog before starting BARF feeding and 2 to 3 weeks after. Depending on what you wanted to achieve (maintenance of body weight, weight loss, weight gain), adjust the size of the meal.
