Chlorophyll in dog food
Chlorophyll has been found to have many beneficial properties for the health of dogs. Cleans the body of harmful substances. Chlorophyll helps detoxify the liver. It also has the ability to bind heavy metals. In addition to cleansing the body of harmful substances, chlorophyll also acts as an antimicrobial, helping the immune system to defend the body. It has a positive effect on the healing of wounds on the skin and mucous membranes. Accelerates recovery from anemia. Due to the very similar structure of chlorophyll and hemoglobin (blood pigment, responsible for binding oxygen in erythrocytes), chlorophyll accelerates recovery from anemia. The difference between chlorophyll and hemoglobin is in only one central atom - iron in hemoglobin and magnesium in chlorophyll. Chlorophyll destroys malignant cells. Chlorophyll prevents the binding of carcinogens, such as aflatoxin, to DNA in the liver and other organs. It also acts as an antioxidant - it neutralizes free radicals. Promotes the health of the digestive system. Chlorophyll cleans the digestive system of harmful substances, but also promotes the development of good microflora in the intestines. In addition to chlorophyll from green raw rumen, Von BARF products also contain chlorophyll from vegetables such as kale, spinach and broccoli.
