Von BARF Premium Selection

The Von BARF Premium Selection product line is designed as an addition to our standard beef-based product line. In order to contribute to the variety in the diet of dogs, we have designed 4 new products, 4 different types of meat. As before, we are of the opinion that monoprotein meals are a much better option than mixing several different meats in the same meal, but we certainly support the diversity of the diet. Each of the 4 products from the Von BARF Premium Selection line has its own distinctive advantages and benefits for dogs. What they all have in common is that they are recommended for dogs that are allergic to the most commonly used types of meat in dog food. Whether we are talking about dry food, canned food or raw food, the most common meat / proteins used are of chicken or beef origin.

Duck meat is rich in fat, but unsaturated fat and is considered an excellent source of omega 3 fatty acids. As such it is an excellent choice for dogs that have problems with chronic inflammation such as arthritis.

Game meat is particularly high quality because it comes from animals that live in the wild. It is characterized by a low fat content because wild animals move a lot and feed on selected plants.

Horse meat is most often mentioned as the type of meat that is recommended for dogs that have problems with food allergies. But it is also the most common recommendation for dogs that are anemic because it contains a lot of iron.

 Rabbit meat is considered extremely high-quality, light, white meat. It can be a choice for dogs that are just switching to a raw diet because it is easy-to-digest meat.
