VON BARF SENSITIVE

VON BARF SENSITIVE is formulated for dogs with sensitive digestion, dogs prone to allergies, dogs in the postoperative recovery, and overweight, as well as older dogs.

VON BARF SENSITIVE is a low-protein food, especially rich in enzymes, and easily digestible.

INGREDIENTS

  • Beef rumen 93%
  • Green leafy vegetables

INGREDIENTS

MEAT

    MEAT

Bovine rumen (one of the chambers of a cow’s stomach; green tripe) is a rich source of enzymes, minerals (calcium and phosphorus), vitamins (choline) and fatty acids (linoleic and alpha-linoleic), and it also contains Lactobacillus acidophilus – a probiotic.

Rumen is also a rich source of chlorophyll, a green plant pigment, which enhances the body’s detoxification process, has antimicrobial properties, strengthens the immune system, plays a role in the control and destruction of malignant cells and has the ability to bind heavy metals. It has a positive effect on wound healing, both on the skin and on mucous membranes (it has been proven that chlorophyll has a positive effect on the healing of peptic ulcer).

NO PRESERVATIVES

    NO PRESERVATIVES

No preservatives, artificial colours, flavour enhancers, pesticides and other additives commonly found in dog food.

FEEDING GUIDE

The amount of food needed for one meal should be thawed and served at room temperature. BARF should not be exposed to high temperatures, cooked or heated in the microwave.

Once defrosted BARF can be kept in the refrigerator for 24 hours. When taken out of the fridge, meal should be served only after it reaches room temperature.

NUMBER AND SIZE OF MEALS

VON BARF SENSITIVE has a somewhat lower nutritional value than VON BARF CLASSIC, therefore the recommended amount for feeding a moderately active dog is 3-4% of their body weight per day.

For dogs with health issues, the number of meals should be adapted accordingly. Dogs with gastritis, liver and pancreatic disease should be fed several times a day, in smaller amounts.

It is desirable to weigh the dog every 2-3 weeks and adjust the diet accordingly.
